FODtube.com*

Last week's post on Foreign Object Debris got me surfing youtube.com for some videos: First up is a short video on some of Denver Airport's FOD control activities - pretty low tech stuff but they appear happy with it.

Airport operations closes runways at various times throughout the summer in order to clean the perimeter area. See how DIA keeps its airfield as safe as possible by recruiting employees to remove F.O.D. (foreign object debris).

The second video is a promo for a FOD-radar similar to but not the same as the one discussed in my previous post.

YVR (Vancouver Airport Authority) demonstrates how they detect and remove foreign object debris - better known as FOD - using QinetiQ's Tarsier radar system.

And the last one is the Aussie FOD-Boss promo (warning: it's looooooong).

Foreign Object Debris has always been a key concern. The FOD BOSS is the most efficient, effective and affordable method for managing FOD.
