Friday Unfunny: The End is Nigh

I’ve ignored ChatGPT over the last couple of days as I dived into familiar topics. And given it’s dubious results when trying to be funny, I thought best not to repeat the sins of the last few Fridays. Instead, today I have asked ChatGPT to acknowledge the final days of the #blogathon with a poem in the style of Edgar Allan Poe.

The Last Flight of the #Blogathon

Upon my site the #blogathon ends

The tales of airports, safety, and friends

The words I've spun, the thoughts I've shared

Will soon be gone, a fate most scared

The keys did clack, the cursor did blink

As I poured out my knowledge, my ink

But now the end is drawing near

And I can't help but shed a tear

The tales of aerodrome works and runway conditions

That I so carefully crafted and shared with precision

Will soon be gone, forgotten to time

But in my heart, they will forever chime

The days did fly, the posts did flow

But now the end is here, I know

The #blogathon, a journey grand

But soon it’ll be over, it's time to land

But let us not despair my dear

For though the end is here, it is not severe

For in our hearts, the words will stay

And live on forever, come what may.
